Have a look below at what just a few of our clients had to say about us!
As part of the improvements the Cabinet Office decided to provide users with the option of speech enablement. Browsealoud was chosen for it's simplicity of use and the ability for the user to modify it for their own preferences.
Derek Coggle, Technical Manager, Cabinet Office Better Internet Project
We've ensured our site is compatible with Browsealoud as part of our drive to increase accessibility for all to the internet. Our social and environmental report plus our education, volunteering, Age & Disability and community connections are now enabled.

Community Legal Services
www.clsdirect.org.uk is highly regarded for its level of accessibility, regularly performing well in public sector league tables, which has led us to sign up to Browsealoud. Through Browsealoud we will enable even more users to access the site and provide access to justice to an even greater number of people. In view of the importance of equal access to the internet, we have also installed Browsealoud on our corporate website www.legalservices.gov.uk.
Duncan Goddard, Policy Officer, eCLS Policy Team
Here at the British Council, we have provided Browsealoud, a speech tool that reads aloud the contents of each page. This service helps users with low literacy and reading skills, where English is not the first language, dyslexic and with users who are mild visually impaired.
Our audience (mainly from overseas, with English as the second language) will benefit hugely from this service.

NI e-Government Portals
www.onlineNI.net the main Northern Ireland e-government portal site offers site visitors the option of having text on the site spoken aloud by means of Browsealoud.
Research has demonstrated that almost 17% of the population experience reading or literacy difficulties, which presents a barrier to accessing information for a significant part of the population. Browsealoud in e-government portals addresses this issue by widening digital inclusion and enabling public bodies to improve communication with many more citizens.
