Using the Spoken User Interface option
You use the Spoken User Interface option in the View menu to read aloud Browsealoud buttons and fields. More specifically, it reads aloud a description of:

the buttons on the Browsealoud toolbar

the buttons and bars in the Preference window.
If you cannot see the View menu, click here.
To use the Spoken User Interface:

Select Spoken User Interface from the Speech menu.

Hover your mouse over a button or bar to hear a description of it read aloud.
If you want to stop Browsealoud from reading aloud button descriptions and system
options, make sure Spoken User Interface is deselected in the Speech menu.
