Using the Spoken User Interface option

You use the Spoken User Interface option in the View menu to read aloud Browsealoud buttons and fields. More specifically, it reads aloud a description of:

If you cannot see the View menu, click here.

To use the Spoken User Interface:

  1. Select Spoken User Interface from the Speech menu.

  2. Hover your mouse over a button or bar to hear a description of it read aloud.

note If you want to stop Browsealoud from reading aloud button descriptions and system options, make sure Spoken User Interface is deselected in the Speech menu.
