Texthelp recognised in Sunday Times PwC Profit Track 100 2012  20 April 2012

Texthelp were delighted for the recent recognition as one of the UK's most profitable businesses, receiving a ranking of 55 in the Sunday Times PwC Profit Track 100 2012.

Texthelp along with Chain Reaction Cycles were the only two Northern Ireland companies to be ranked in the Sunday Times PwC Profit Track 100, which ranks the 100 private companies with the fastest-growing profits over the last three years of available audited accounts.

Texthelp Systems began in 1996 with very few employees working on a small range of basic software programs to help people overcome their physical and communication issues. Over the last 15 years we have continued to be at the forefront of assistive software development, designing products to help support and improve the lives of people who have difficulty reading and writing. Texthelp now employs over 100 staff between its Antrim and Woburn (US) offices.

Kevin MacAllister, Northern Ireland partner and private business leader at PwC, said: "In a region where a dynamic private business sector is essential to rebalance the economy, it's great to see two companies showcasing the region's private sector. It's dynamic private businesses like Texthelp and Chain Reaction that can set an example to the rest of the Northern Ireland private sector and demonstrate how determined and export-focused companies can help economic recovery and growth."
