In an effort to take the benefits of accessibility to a wider audience, MSF&W announced their partnership with BrowseAloud.
MSF&W pioneered some of the first accessible information systems in Illinois. They wrote the Illinois Web Accessibility Standards and helped develop the Illinois Information Technology Accessibility Act.
BrowseAloud was designed to adhere to the Section 508 accessibility standards. It works by speaking website content aloud in a high quality, human-sounding voice making websites more accessible to those with learning difficulties, dyslexia, mild visual impairments or language learners. The solution is unique in its delivery, in that all the technology is provided free to the website visitor, with the cost covered by the website owner.
Speaking about the partnership, Nathan Zak, Sales & Marketing Manager, MSF&W Accessibility Solutions says:
"We decided to partner because we think BrowseAloud is an excellent complement to the other services and offerings we provide. It's an outstanding way to leverage the work that our clients are already doing to make their websites accessible, while also taking the benefits of accessibility to a wider audience."
David Robinson, BrowseAloud General Manager, adds:
"We are delighted to be partnering with MSF&W who share our commitment to make online accessibility a reality with our BrowseAloud service."
